AUDIOLOGIST

  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Engages in patient care in the Clinic and other settings using specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills. Practices in the prevention, identification, assessment and rehabilitation of auditory function.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
    • Licenses and Certifications Required
      • Current Certification by the North Dakota Board of Examiners for Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, required.
      • Current ND license as Hearing Instrument Specialist or ND Hearing Aid Specialist Trainee license, required. Ability to obtain permanent ND Hearing Aid Specialist license within 1 year of hire, required.
    • Educational Requirements
      • Education as required to obtain licensure and certification as described above.
    • Experience Requirements
      • Extensive knowledge of established professional audiology concepts, principals and practices, required.
      • Experience in the practice of clinical and therapeutic audiology,preferred.
      • Experience working with a variety of age groups including infants and children.
      • CPT coding knowledge as related to audiology, preferred.
