Engages in patient care in the Clinic and other settings using specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills. Practices in the prevention, identification, assessment and rehabilitation of auditory function.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
Current Certification by the North Dakota Board of Examiners for Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, required.
Current ND license as Hearing Instrument Specialist or ND Hearing Aid Specialist Trainee license, required. Ability to obtain permanent ND Hearing Aid Specialist license within 1 year of hire, required.
Educational Requirements
Education as required to obtain licensure and certification as described above.
Experience Requirements
Extensive knowledge of established professional audiology concepts, principals and practices, required.
Experience in the practice of clinical and therapeutic audiology,preferred.
Experience working with a variety of age groups including infants and children.
CPT coding knowledge as related to audiology, preferred.
