Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and transport soiled linens from patient care units and designated areas following established infection control and handling procedures.
- Sort, load, and process linens through washing, drying, and finishing equipment to ensure proper cleaning and quality standards are met.
- Deliver clean linens to units, stock designated storage areas, and rotate inventory to maintain appropriate levels throughout the hospital.
- Inspect linens for damage or contamination and remove items from circulation according to departmental guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and safe operation of laundry equipment and work areas, reporting any mechanical or safety concerns promptly.
