Under the general supervision of the Neurodiagnostic Supervisor, performs otoacoustic, routine and complex electroencephalogram. Performs nerve conduction studies and/or evoked potential and intraoperative monitoring on all those served by this department.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
Registration in EEG and/or IOM or EP by ABRET is recommended.
Basic Life Support (CPR) required within 30 days of hire.
Educational Requirements
Graduate of an accredited END technology program or equivalent formal training is recommended.
Experience Requirements
1 year experience in neurodiagnostic testing with above registration OR 1 year experience in neurodiagnostic testing at Trinity with on-the-job training in NCS and/or evoked potentials;
Or 2 years’ experience in neurodiagnostic testing including NCS and/or IOM testing.
