NEURODIAGNOSTICS TECH I

- POSITION SUMMARY
- Under the supervision of the Neurodiagnostic coordinator or Neuro Tech II performs otoacoustic, electroencephalogram, and/or evoked potentials studies on all those served by this department including neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. A Neuro Tech I performs electroencephalograms and other neurodiagnostic tests on critically ill patients and in intensive care units.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Registration or eligible for registration in EEG or EP by ABRET is highly recommended.
- Basic Life Support (CPR) required within 30 days of hire.
- Educational Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited END technology program or equivalent formal training is highly recommended.
- Experience Requirements
- 6 months of experience in EEG or neurodiagnostic testing
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
